Russel 'Erwyd' Erwood

The curator of comedy and curios

Roll up, roll up for Erwyd, Conwy’s longest-serving official jester and a master of mirth for over a decade! You may have glimpsed him juggling jokes at Conwy Castle, conjuring chuckles at Plas Mawr, or dazzling crowds at Greenwood Family Park.

Having trained in circus from the age of 14, Erwyd honed his craft under a Cirque du Soleil alum and an ex-postman with a flair for the fabulous. His career has taken him from castle courtyards to television screens, rubbing elbows with legends like Sir Terry Wogan (and urinals with Sylvester McCoy – long story).

Duo Revolution

Gonzalez & Jasmine

Direct from Argentina, Duo Revolution is a fiery fusion of tradition, rhythm, and raw power. Blending the masculine strength of the gaucho with the fierce energy of the modern woman, their act is a whirlwind of pounding drums, spinning boleadoras, and explosive choreography that will leave you breathless.

When they’re not touring, they perform with Cirque XXI—one of Argentina’s most celebrated circuses—and always return to their roots at Revolution Gaucho and Circo Rodas, where it all began.

This enigmatic duo has performed in more than 13 countries, lighting up stages around the world with their unique blend of folkloric dance and circus artistry.

Viktoria

The Songbird of the Silks

From the faraway hills of Slovakia to the heart of Denbighshire, Viktoria brings fire, flair, and flight to the circus ring. A classically trained singer from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, she stumbled upon circus life quite literally—during a class that sent her skyward—and never looked back.

Now a seasoned aerialist and vocalist, Viktoria has soared under the canvas of Giffords Circus, Russells International Circus, Cirque du Hilarious, and more, weaving music and movement into every show. When not defying gravity or belting out ballads, Viktoria roams the wilds of Wales in search of waterfalls, ancient cairns, and the occasional argument with a badger.

The Bards

Seth, Evie & Michael

Seth Bye is a composer and multi-instrumentalist specialising in traditional music styles. He is performing on fiddle, accordion, bass, tenor guitar, and vocals. Seth is often known for his 870-mile foot-powered tour of the Wales Coast Path with Filkin’s Drift—an endeavor described by Mark Radcliffe as a 'truly epic journey' (BBC Radio 2).

Michael Chance is an artist who also plays the drums. Or he's a musician who paints. He's never quite made up his mind. He's usually found roaming the waterways of East London or the perilous wilds of Hertfordshire aboard his narrowboat. He plays in a post-folk band called Pudding, which is just as tasty as it sounds!

Evie Hilyer-Ziegler is a musician and cross-discipline artist from London. With a practice rooted in improvisation, she draws upon her interests in early music and folk traditions to blend old sounds with new. She is soon to be releasing an album with her trio, Fen, who create original electroacoustic compositions with violin, cello, live electronics and modular synth.

Nathan Flowers

Sound & Lighting Technician

Nathan is best described as a circus Swiss Army Knife - if there's a role in the circus that you can think of, he's probably done it.

When he's not building circuses, Nathan spends his time performing tricks on horses at breakneck speeds, often while holding an eagle, as you do!

Robin Timson

Creator and Director

Robin Timson, of Llanddulas North Wales, dreamt of one day running his own circus and this year it has finally become a reality.

“I have been away from home travelling with a circus in England, which was great, but what I really wanted to do was bring it home and tour North Wales. I never actually thought it would ever happen; however, with help from some amazing friends we’re launching Peregrine Circus this summer."

“I chose the name Peregrine Circus because the peregrine is a bird that migrates, wandering from place to place. This applied to both me and the circus.”
